one of the fun things about action games with a plot is when you figure out the time line and realise the player character just does not rest ever
like in Half-life, Gordon spends about a full 24 hours awake other than passing out when he gets beat over the head, in 2 he's awake for about two days of subjective time, not counting him getting knocked out in the intro, time not experienced in a teleporter, and getting knocked out after falling off a sky scraper. Guy's going for 48 hours plus on just head trauma, morphine, and adrenaline shots.

also any game with a rapid day/night cycle (like, 30 minutes = 24 hours) but zero obligation (or even available mechanic) to sleep
