for context: made my first-ever baked good (cookies) tonight!
-put the sugar in the wrong bowl and had to fish some of it out
-accidentally let the chocolate chips melt in the bag so when i went to pour them in, it... well, poured
-tried to mix "softened" butter and sugar with a whisk (which very nearly broke)
-may have accidentally caramelized a little bit of that sugar when I put it in the oven to soften the butter đź’¦
-lost half an egg and ended up with a bunch of shell pieces (that I mostly fished out!), which I tried to compensate for by using the extra-large egg (success???)
-made them too big so they ended up underbaked whoops
