Okay, so in first or second grade, real young, there was another kid who thought a xing was a type of rabbit, because in one of the classroom's windows there was a yellow sign with a silhouette of a rabbit and the word "XING" under it, and that became one of my core memories.

I have this memory from the distant past of Usenet, of someone criticizing a cyberpunk story with a character named “Ped Xing”, saying “this is the worst character name since Hiro Protagonist”
