Made an unnatural amount of progress, that I keep telling myself i need a break from all of it. Then an hour later I'm back at it. I didn't do the third draft, as I'm keeping myself away from it to collect every thing I want to do for it, and focused on writing chapter outlines, character notes, and structuring the sections that'll make up the second story of the prologue.

While the writing is getting done, I've also been doodling more of scenes I want to illustrate fully. One thorn in my side about the korps is going by art alone has often made me feel unsatisfied with my art because there's no story behind it. It doesn't, ... it never feels like it fits the actual 'vibe' of the korps. But when I write I'm quickly getting this sense of purpose, like if I drew something based on my own writing, it feels like it'd be something I'd be a lot more proud of.

You almost have the opposite problem I have with that second part. I almost always need some sort of decent visual to write a particular scene or setting or character, but am fine if that same visual exists on its own with little to no context or story behind it.

I can easily get lost in words, imaginging the sights and smells and everything with what description is afforded to me. But really its just the tone and mood of the Korps I want to get down and that's hard for me to do visually, yet luckily the setting is driven by the writing people have produced and what lore snippets Kraken has graciously provided so its easy for my minds eye to fill in the blanks.
