We've been hot on the writing front, with tomorrow I'll be starting the third and final draft of the first section of the prologue. Currently, there is planned to be twenty-three sections. All are more or less single self-contained stories that carry an ongoing narrative, as I seem to work best in episodes. Aiming for 50k words, as that is goal for a standard NaNoWriMo, after that I'll be looking into word economy and trying to reduce what I can to save reader's time.
Today I'm just going to be setting up Krita, just to doodle and see about doing some studies that are relevant to the story subject matter; tactical outfits, firearms, sci-fi vehicles, monsters. If I have time, I'll post the next update to 'The Interview' later in the evening, but I also need to think about the next short story 'Voices in the Sky' as I want to use that to explore how to tell a fight scene.
This however well all be after I take some much needed time for self-care and cleaning out my apartment. I'd been working near nonstop the past week and feeling grungy over it, but once again I shall be bright eyed and bushy tailed. 🐇✨
