In that post-upload period of time where all my 'friends' remember I exist and are asking me to RP almost daily until they get their wish or lose interest and don't talk to me until the next upload.
I am not wanting to get into the details, because half of what they want would require far too many content warnings that I want to write out. Its mostly I'm getting a dozen messages that are meant to be flirty, describing how their character will destroy and tame Yvonne. Half want a physical trophy from her body which I get, hares feet said to bring luck, one wants her claymore, and a viking wants her as spoils of war. One or two people bragging isn't too bad, but feels like I've got the entire furry fighting community breathing down my neck wanting their pound of flesh.
The other problem I'm having is I want to avoid voice chatting with friends I speak to near daily because one of them keeps trying to correct my pronouncation of things. It's hard to describe how deeply uncomfortable it is people pick on my accent, and the reaction I get whenever I speak doric is almost universally negative. Despite what I may have been lead to think with how popular Pokemon Sword/Shield was with the scottish memes, they don't actually like ' fin I div spik scots'.
I used to be enthralled by Oor Willie and The Broons, and my late great aunt's TV which had been set to gaelic-speaking station. So I'm kind of discourage by the response, I think I do want to isolate myself particularly on avenues like FurAffinity and just write descriptions and titles entirely in Scots gaelic.
