really liking how many linux users are on here posing about linux (i mean, i shouldn't be surprised, this place seems like it would just attract linux users by default given all [gestures vaguely] that.) i use debian 12 bookworm with the cinnamon pack on there and dear god every time i fucking open my windows boot i am appalled by how fucking bloated windows is.
ive used windows for yeeeears and i moved to debian a few months ago, and now i'm so pissed that i can't get clip studio paint working on linux or i'd never look back. i swear every day with windows was burning my brain. especially with windows' tendency to brick itself any time for any reason. to say nothing of the fact it just breaks its own files constantly. and for what, so you can sell me one drive subscriptions? no thanks
funniest (and only) bug ive ever had on debian is while i was trying to use winecfg on a windows game-modding tool and it straight up would not allow me to click anything until i moved it to my first monitor (on my second monitor, it would just freeze.) incredibly stupid program behavior but it IS funny that my only linux bug was with the thing that runs windows programs. wine is incredibly complex tho so i cant be too mad about it
