So after a week now of playing Dragonflight at my own pace as I stream it on Discord to my friends and partners, I’m actually seeing some good being done with it, and I really feel like it sets Shadowlands and BFA’s failures for what they really were writing wise: the team separately trying to fix the fuck up of creep. The much more hopeful and focused story of DF, especially with all the queer characters features as nonchalantly and yet purposefully as I’ve always wanted to see. To have a male character talk about how great his husbamd is multiple times is so sweet.
I’m only just now entering the Azure Expanse too which, given my previous WoW proclivities, I expect to make me the most hyped tbh.
