my favorite dinner to make when i only have 5 minutes

  • a clamshell of arugula
  • a few tablespoons of olive oil
  • a tablespoon of rice wine vinegar
  • a pinch of salt
  • a smaller pinch of msg
  • a couple shakes of whatever hot sauce is in the fridge
  • some dry oregano
  • a can of chickpeas (drained and rinsed)

make the dressing by mixing the olive oil, vinegar, salt, msg, hot sauce, and oregano. drain and rinse the chickpeas. add the chickpeas and the dressing to the clamshell. close it tight and shake the clamshell until everything is mixed.

the hot sauce and the msg are pretty optional imo.

if you like a spinach salad it might be good, but it would taste a lot different. i never have any fewer than like 6 hot sauces in my fridge so i usually just kinda pick one that sounds good lmao. there's a bravado spice co black garlic carolina reaper sauce that i tend to use often.
