i think numerical ratings are a shitty way to interpret something as experiential as music. it's good for things like lawn mowers, but giving a song a numerical score is like giving the scent of an orange grove a numerical score.

possibly if it was normal to call the scent of an orange grove "post-lime with a strong dark citruswave undercurrent" people would resort to numbers sometimes
