and god bless em but a lot of them who are grabbing the first thing that looks like a credible reference without going in-depth? they're not looking up how some of those words are supposed to be pronounced. again, i love video i love film everyone should make videos if they want. but come on, you gotta find out how to say stuff you're unsure of! it takes a few seconds!

Seriously, one of the most corrosive ideas that I've seen in my lifetime is the "lay off of people mispronouncing words, because they've only seen it in print." First, it implies that literacy is some elitist goal that deserves far more praise than caring about making yourself clear when you speak. But also, they can absolutely look up the pronunciation of anything when they're going to record, rather than talking about how they "can't wait for the corrections" from, y'know, people who actually could be bothered to care...
