is that now more than ever it's clear that not only is pretty much everyone lying to you, but you know they're generally lying to you out of either ignorance that it's a lie, or pressures from higher up.
thinking a lot about how business just gets to outright lie and be cool with it instead of ever learning from their lesson, especially having that happen to me with Actual Doctors lately and each side demanding that the other side has to be the one that sends the paperwork.

this is something I've been thinking about lately: how every industry watched Obama bail out the banks that proved they were Too Big to Fail in 2008 and realized that was gonna be the game from here on out
see also: lending Elon Musk the billions of dollars he'd need to buy Twitter. how's he gonna pay this back? what's his plan to make more money than this on a site that's never broken a single billion in gross profit? who cares, it's Elon Musk, he's the richest man in the world. if Congress asks how we let this crash the economy again, we'll just say it seemed like a good idea at the time and there was no way we could have seen this shortfall coming
