Bio:

Your crewmates call you “Kim.”
This is not your full name. Your actual, full name is unpronounceable by the typical voicebox of a convergent biped without technological assistance.
You grew up in the northern pacific, swimming with your kin, singing songs that have been passed down since before man had fire. You also sang the newer songs. You remember the light in the sky when you were five years old, the terror of the rest of Earthclan, the news of the War.
The War ended when you were ten. The consequences of the War are still unfolding.
When you were old enough, you enrolled in the Academy for Star Patrol. You are not the first dolphin to graduate from that prestigious school. Nor were you the first to get a field posting.
You are the first dolphin to get a rocket posting. It may be unfair, but the hopes and dreams of many young people are riding in your wake.
You are the best pilot aboard the Di Renjie-7, and the stars are your ocean now.

I had a lot of fun with this. Gorn was great to work with, and I got feedback from the voice actors for their character designs. Although I was given a framework, a lot of the character design was my own work and I'm quite happy with the result.

The characters are cosmonauts in the Interstellar Union of Republics' Star Patrol. They are flight engineer Holmes, an old Aquilian War veteran and cyborg, astrogator and psychic Martin (who is not from Mars), Yureli, the Martian hacker signals specialist, and Stevens, the welsh doctor. And don't forget the Mary Gilham-32, the faster than light stealth rocket ship.

Torchship by Erika Chappel is a work in progress tabletop roleplaying game which is like star trek but with radiators and communism.

It's not like. a slimegirl game. i know two out of three of all extant fanart i know of for this unreleased ttrpg features slimegirls, but like, most of the aliens are very very humanoid! there are traits for shapeshifters and amorphous form, though, so there's nothing stopping you from playing a gooey girlie, and even if the rules forbade it for some cruel reason, nothing can stop me from drawing it. disclaimer over. uh.

This woman was found by humans in an Aquillian Warship's science lab, as a baby, and was raised in rural Earth. She eventually became a security cosmonaut in Star Patrol. She has a southern accent.
