as much as i love using procreate for digital drawings, i wanna focus on the ipad as a whole.
ive had this ipad for two years iirc, and lately the battery has been draining quite faster than normal. i think im starting to go insane with every little thing in relation to this. this ipad is my only source of digital art, as my laptop is incapable, and my raspberry pi 400..... is well, a raspberry pi 400.
i dont wanna lose this ipad, already had one before and that one died. this ipad lets me express myself with all sorts of cool and unique brushes in procreate that i wouldnt be able to portray on paper or in pixel art. sure im fed up with how closed the apple ecosystem is but it's all i have for digital art.
sincerely speaking if this one dies out, i may just switch to using one of them android lenovo tablets. unlike the ios system, android doesnt compress my photos without my consent, android doesnt keep me locked in to a fenced playpen, i can sideload apps from outside google play like newpipe and fennec.
admittingly i have my phone, but i prefer using a tablet, though i wouldnt mind taking the time to learn how to make digital art on my phone. i dont think i wanna keep shelling out anything for the same of apple in the future. i just need something that i can USE without the lingering fear of something sapping the battery capability
this paranoia has been keeping me just going out of my mind in silent and at the back. and by paranoid, i mean "im on the verge of crying" paranoid ;-;
some nights when i draw i would have a usb fan connected to a power bank so my ipad doesnt get hot
i feel like as this keeps going up and down, i think i need to just keep the cable attached and use it like that
