Some select favorites from an "emoji combo" request thing I did on Twitter. I don't typically do open-request stuff but it was fun. I did try out some new stuff, and I feel it may have not been the most successful in execution (nor very close to my typical "style" of art), but I still like the designs and execution of these four.

I remember 2021 was a great peak in my fascination with surrealism, and that fascination has never really dipped down since. I have been looking back at the works of Osamu Sato again, especially "Rhythm 'n' Face". I like the little characters that dance as you create the faces in the game and sort of wanted to do a monochrome piece that utilized that sort of "recognizable round shape" look they seem to have. This one initially started out very simple (it didn't have stuff like the giant eye, liquid, and ring designs) but I'm overall glad how it turned out.
