i hope that i'm not being rude or braggy but I wanted to say that i've known Bernie for years - she's an old classmate and friend of my mom's, and mom introduced us at a time when i thought we were both male and i wanted to try and do something in voiceover. she's always been super kind and understanding and has always been a huge inspiration to me, and now that goes double.
we actually had lunch with her recently and just. aside from anything personal, being with someone my mom's age who only recently came out at that age really helped drive home for me how incredible it is that we're all here, and we always have been.
