against me! - transgender dysphoria blues. i love this album! it’s not my favorite against me album but it’s one i love. the way laura jane grace talks about dysphoria as a series of jagged edges you’re putting yourself against and sometimes in sync with has stuck with me since i first heard it.
bomb the music industry - to leave or die in long island. this was a huge one for me as a teen and i’ve gotten back into it lately. i returned to this album in my early twenties (fiveish years ago) amid my entrance into working as a cook and fully embracing the dirtbag service industry/going to shows lifestyle, and coming back to it now still working industry but with much less concern about where my next beer’s coming from every night’s given some good perspective. album still rocks but i’m not yelling I THOUGHT THAT WE’D NEVER GROW UP as fervently anymore.
waka flocka flame - flockaveli. great album. 10/10 now as always. it’s a party it’s a party it’s a party
