this is incredible. read all of it in one sitting just now. it hits this particular sweet spot for me, that feeling of wanting to give in and submit but the way hypno can kind of absolve the guilty feelings that come with it but also incorporating how hypno is kind of a terrifying autonomy/consent-stealing monster of an idea lol. the reveal of who selene is is fantastic, i was wondering if she like vivian and discover she's instead like this petty little shadow is awesome. and im a big sucker for comfort in the end lol, bad ending stuff can sometimes sit a little raw with me, so i will hope (tho wish not to pressure) that amber and vivian will be okay in the end 
Ahhhh thank you so much! And yes, all of those concepts are why I love the idea of hypno in the first place. I still have a bit to go, but we'll see how it ends up eventually :)
