little cousin’s here for the family reunion. he’s telling me how if you smoke marijuana and you inhale too much and it goes down the wrong pipe then your stomach can get infected and then that infection spreads to your heart and then your heart starts pumping infected blood and then you get white spots on your brain and you lose memories at random. hadn’t heard about that

getting into arguments with this dude because he thinks there’s viable railguns. there’s not viable railguns buddy. i promise. then he’s like yes there are there’s radiation cannons. you don’t even know what a railgun is. what are you 11 years old. also what radiation cannons

you're 11 years old, the only radiation canon you should care about is how cool Walter Goggins is as Ghoul in Fallout (I mean probably? I didn't watch it but I'm not 11)

There's a company that makes electromagnetic accelerator guns (i think they're coilguns rather than railguns, but that's kind of a technical distinction) but their website says they don't sell to the public anymore smdh.

That said, I don't know if they're viable in any sense. They made powerful ones that had to run on big internal batteries and capacitor banks, and they made some that run on, like, cordless drill batteries, but they were only a little more powerful than your typical air rifle. Not exactly battlefield ready in either case.
