Yeah I did take my camera to the eclipse but I consciously did not take a tripod or a long lens because I didn’t want to spend the previous three minutes and change fiddling with my camera. I shot a couple quick snaps during totality without fiddling with any settings at all and then tossed the camera in my lawn chair and ignored it again.
