windshyme.itch.io/Still trying to outline my tastes in music, it's surprising to realize how little I know about my liking when it come to songs. I'm not sure I could even tell what kind of genres I'm into yet.
Recently, I've been exploring sea shanties, and the harmony of voices in acapella are doing something for me. Plus, there got to be so much history behind every song, stories from ages ago that shaped theirs lyrics. Or at least that's what I like to imagine.
I've barely listened to any others yet, so I can't really compare it to anything, but "Bones in the Ocean" is very good.
One day, I'll get to have a voice range and friends with whom I'll sing those kind of songs. :)
I was listening to How to Train your Dragon's OSTs recently and there
of one of the tracks that give me shivers. That mix of bagpipes and violin just click for me. I don't know how to properly describe it, it feel old, antique, powerful, significant, haunting. I love those kind of mysterious, shrilling tune with those kind of twisted sounding instruments, but I don't know if there a name for it? I really want more of it though.
