There's a drawing hang on the wall of my grandma's place that I didn't really noticed until today. It's a drawing of a tree made using only a singular shade of black, the paper is somewhat dirty, the background is made of vertical lines space out from each other at regular intervals, they seem to depict the wall of a house.

The way this little monochrome drawing manage to meticulously portray depth really fascinate me, and so I wanted to draw my own tree today as well.

I'll try to see if I can find a version of the painting online so I can share it properly and credit the artist as well.

Busy day today, but still manage to draw something. It's nothing very ambitious, but I felt happy drawing it.
For some times now, I feel like drawing became more... Easy, in a way? It's more of an overall feeling rather than an actual ease in any specific process. I think trying to transpose the image from my mind to the paper has felt less tedious as of late. I don't know if it's because of the lack of complexity of my past dailys or an actual sign of improvement, I'm happy regardless.
