yea me too!
i cant even tell if theres a way to see how many likes a post has
dont think so, the main metric is number of comments on a post- cohost is engineered to focus much more on quality personal interactions over quantity
yeah, i definitely noticed the change in focus but it still feels a bit weird only being able to see people liking my post in my notification feed.
i had the same feeling, but i realize it is more like "i have read this/bookmarking for myself" rather than a public endorsement like on tumblr
there isn't, and it's intentional. see this paragraph on the logged-out welcome page:
metrics are ruining our lives
modern social media is designed around a vicious feedback loop that keeps users Engaged at the expense of their mental health, all in order to make their executives more money.
whenever it feels like there's too many people, simply go through them and block every 10th follower
when the 99+ hits you and the "oh god oh fuck what happened i'm being Percieved" sets in, that's about the "oh god that's too many" vibe
and i guess you could go by hand on the "followers" page and tally them if you really wanted?
