people who gatekeep plurality are funny. what do you mean you need a diagnosis to hear other people in your head, it just happens

Cool. Also yeah I haven't thought about plurality in a while, and yeah fuck those people who are all politically correct about it going like "oh but you aren't diagnosed!!" "Noo you're faking it!!!". It's your mind

Unfortunately yeah. I'm not 100% sure if I am plural, but there is a lot of stuff that plural people talk about that I relate to.
I was introduced to plurality unfortunately mostly through Twitter/Tumblr, and it is very very gatekeepy in most parts over there. Just scratching the surface here, but two things that were kinda hurtful and hindering to me (as someone who might be plural): 1.) A lot of discourse around "choosing" to be plural 🙄 2.) I had there friends who werr plural and in private would talk about being ashamed of having "too many" fictives, because apparently that is bad too 🤷‍♀️
Thankfully people here on cohost seem a lot more chill towards plurality. I am still kinda poking outside on the sidelines, but I feel a lot safer here to do that than I ever would have felt on other social media.

As someone who has been here for a minute, the entities here are in general much nicer and more open, less gatekeepy, also welcome to cohost!

Sidenote im plural, very plural, no diagnosis i just know there isnt one of me because one of the me's in here tried to ruin my life a few times.

oh it depends for everyone, in our case it's like I can chat with the other voices, see them in my head, interact with them. sometimes when I'm front I can ask my friend Ashley for input or she'll make a comment. that sort of thing, but it varies a lot in each system how easy it is to communicate.

it might be worth exploring! I started doing that by just setting up pluralkit on an empty discord server and chatting with my wolf friend, putting a little picture and name to her made her feel so tangible and easy to differentiate from me.
