I'm gonna' take a second and shill for cheap glasses for a second.
So I bought these at http://www.wherelight.com but there's a handful of really good glasses websites out there where you can USE YOUR FUCKDAMNED EYEBALLS without breaking the bank.
You'll need to get your prescription numbers from an optometrist AND your PUPILLARY DISTANCE (They have to give it to you if you're in the US but I've heard they're sometimes kinda' shitty about it cuz they know you're gonna' buy online.)
The last time I went to buy glasses with insurance I was looking at walking out of the shop with a $200 order for glasses but instead I went home and ordered two pairs of glasses for $20 from http://www.goggles4u.com.
I've also ordered prescription sunglasses from http://www.Zennioptical.com and other glasses from http://www.eyebuydirect.com
I've never had a problem with any of them except for one pair that I ordered drunk and I entered my prescription numbers wrong for. So that was my fault lmao.
Anyway at this point in my life I love giant, exceptionally gay looking frames so Wherelight.com is my personal favorite but if you're looking for something sensible I cannot recommend signing up for the spamletter at goggles4u.com and ordering on one of their unending streams of excellent BOGO deals hard enough.
Prescription glasses to your door with a backup pair for just over $20 last time I picked mine up.
