Actual foodstuffs, huh? Well, I do like a good yakisoba but... Listen, it's gonna sound suuuuper stereotypically Wutaian to say I like ramen but it's true, ok? Instant ramen is great - I've survived most of my adult life off of it - but proper ramen with all of the veggies and a boiled egg? Perfect! Ya head down to Kasagawa-san's little near the Kugane markets and get yourself some of his pork ramen because he puts his heart and soul into making it! It's honestly the best food I've tried in this world. (Besides Mes' cooking, of course!) As for sweets, ya ever had dorayaki? Imagine two pancakes sandwiched together with red bean paste in the middle. Sounds weird to those who don't eat red beans often, probably, but it's freaking amazing! I would live a very happy life if it only consisted of eating Kasagawa-san's ramen and dorayaki.

Bex:
... Geez, how do I follow up with as much enthusiasm? Umm... Well, I like a bunch of different food and, yes, Doman/Kugane cuisine is certain amongst some of my favourites, but... Geez do I wax poetic about my love of New World Burritos? Do I go on about all of the different desserts I love? Both you and I know that I have a sweet tooth... Do I go for simple yet cozy foods like ratatouille? ... Alright, well, all of the above definitely count as favourites but, honestly, my favourite kind of food, tacos, is hard to come by in Eorzea, so I'll have to go with the next best thing: New World Burritos. Equally as difficult to find in Eorzea but they certainly do exist! I don't know what it is but those New World people come up with the best spice mixes for meat and burritos are really no different! They're mouth-watering, and pretty filling with the beans in there, too! I don't know why they're not more popular - I only know of them through a travelling vendor that came to Limsa while I was visiting one day - but I've tried my best to recreate the flavours myself and, well, I'm probably not spot on with my estimations, but I think I've done a pretty good job, all things considered!

Bex:

Oof, good question! Ummm... Well, Aellae and I have already toured around Kugane so that's out, but I'd want something along the same lines, you know? Somewhere outside of Eorzea, somewhere that's full of culture that's completely different from our own... I'd say Thavnair but I don't know if I'd get along with the food - not a fan of curry - so... Maybe the Azim Steppe? I don't know much about it, to be honest, but from what I have heard, their way of living is pretty different and I'd love to learn more about that!

Yuffie:

I mean, Kugane's also out for me, technically, since I go there all the time, but it is the ideal vacation. It's so much like home to me it just feels... Comfortable, y'know? Like I belong there. I am actually in the process of trying to get Mes and I a vacation home there but the housing market is a bitch! Must be on, like, the 20th attempt now, perhaps 30th! Besides Kugane, though... I mean, I beach is always great and all but I kinda like, you know, high places. I love peering down on the world below from the highest peak I can find! Come to think of it, isn't there a place called The Peaks somewhere? Maybe that'd be a great place to vacation! Failing that, Mes told me about this whole floating island thing in the sky that you can get an airship to from Ishgard. Camp Cloudtop, I think it was called! Not sure if it's mountainous, exactly, but I bet the view from up there is amazing on a relatively cloudless day!

I'm going to do something a little bit out there and throw out a request for my FFXIV characters to answer because why the fuck not? Lets see what happens!

Things to keep in mind:

• Neither Bex nor Yuffie are the WoL. So events that are WoL specific (eg. Any of the battles or, you know, pretty much anything that happened on The First) wont apply to them!
• My Yuffie is the same as FFVII's Yuffie but she got shunted to Eorzea (Specifically Ishgard) sometime post DoC in her world and probably post-Shadowbringers at least in the FFXIV world, so there will probably be mentions of FFVII stuff here and there. You can absolutely ask her about things that happened in FFVII's timeline, too!
• To add, Bex experienced The Calamity, Yuffie didn't.

Joking, joking! Although, to an extent, I'm not. I do indeed appreciate buff ladies very very much - this is usually evidenced in fiction such as She-Ra or D&D but is a real life thing, too! - but, honestly? Beyond that and the 'Black hair, red eyes combo' that is only even achievable in fiction, I've never really shown an appearance-based type, I don't think. Not for women, anywho. All girls are wonderful.

Most of my 'Type' actually depends on personality. I am not the most outgoing bean and can be quite introverted at times, so I value someone who has that right balance of playful and chill. Someone who I can laugh with and tease, who will tease me right back, but also doesn't mind just chatting and taking it easy. I like someone who has a little bit of hopeless romanticism in them and likes to do little romantic things here and there to make me feel special, and in relation to that, I like people who have big hearts. Obviously, I gravitate towards someone who has the same interests as me so my type tends to lean moreso on the nerdy side, and I find a little bit of intelligence to be incredibly hot! X3

But yeah, to sum up: A fellow nerd who's a romantic softy and has that perfect balance of playful and chill. Bonus points for intelligence and muscles but definitely not necessary!

(Note: I have a different 'Type' for guys. I tend to stray away from the stereotypical 'Hot masculine man' and prefer kinda lanky cute guys with great smiles with the same personality traits as above. Buuuuut I lean more towards women overall so am more lately to date them than men!)
