Being a gun for hire is a stressful gig. One mistake can easily put you six feet under. For the most part, however, the greatest risk actually comes from one or more mistakes you might end up making - in other words, something entirely your own fault. Not because someone snuck a bomb inside your body and set it to explode if you don't maintain a certain heart rate, turning you into Cardiac Powder.

In the year 2069, peace is but a distant memory for AY Corp and ATO Corp, as the two territories are locked in a deadly conflict. Why? Border disputes. Typical stuff, really, although it does work nicely as a backdrop and/or motivation for our protagonist to flight suit up and embark on Ayako's Mission.
