I have been a part of a lot of "communities." The Rooster Teeth Community, the Star Wars Community, the Mega Man Community, the list goes on. But those aren't actually communities. Those are brands. You aren't a community with them, you are an audience member. Cohost was a website that you could build a community with folk who liked the hobbies and interests you liked. I got to follow a lot of cool folk and got to discuss weird topics, and see discussions I haven't seen on the internet post 2008. We talked, we laughed, we yelled at each other. This was a website.

You know, I keep trying to write something that is profound, but honestly that isn't what I think you guys need from me. You don't need my fracking manifesto. Cohost was just a jolly good time. And you know what? Just because all good things must end, that doesn't mean you have to forget the good times. Its just up to you to keep that memory alive, and bring about more good times. So pour one out for Cohost, sure, but then make sure to have a good time with it as well.

Sayonara Cohost.

I made a blog with Zonelets on my Neocities page.

Also has an RSS Feed, the finest technology that pre 2008 internet has provided!

I also have an 88x31 button you can all be fancy with.

I'll mirror posts onto here till the end, the first will probably be a repost almost immediately after I post this announcement.

And I am still looking for work! So, new year, same old story. I am available for work in narrative design as well as general game design. Most of my games are playable here: https://xuelder.itch.io/

I'm also building a portfolio site here: https://xuelder.neocities.org/
