It's here! One of my final Cohost posts! Here's a list of all the indies I jotted down into blog posts in 2024.

This is only a small slice of all the interesting and fantastic indie games that have come out so far, but I think I managed to capture a good variety. Check these games out, add them to your wishlist, etc.

  • Arctic Eggs, an experimental narrative game where you cook eggs (and other things) on a frying pan.

  • Yolk Heroes: A Long Tamgo, an idle raising-sim about nurturing the perfect RPG hero.

  • Anthology of the Killer, a collection of 9 colorful adventure games following the bizarre scenarios that BB finds herself in.

  • SKALD: Against the Black Priory, a retro-style party RPG in a grim-dark setting.

  • #BLUD, a top-down action RPG with a slick 2000s TV cartoon aesthetic.

  • Dystopika, a low-stakes city-building sandbox for making futuristic landscapes.

  • Garage Sale, a top-down narrative adventure game about collecting items and talking to neighbors.

  • Oh Deer, a multiplayer hunting game where 1 player plays as a hunter and the rest play as deer.

  • Dread Weight, a horror visual novel with an anime aesthetic.

  • Arco, a tactical RPG focused on branching decisions, magic, and revenge.

  • Gourdlets, an easygoing city sandbox game with cute vegetable folks.

  • Sunset Hills, a point-and-click adventure game with a lush painterly art style and a world of animals.

  • Tactical Breach Wizards, a tactics RPG about deploying renegade wizards and rewinding time.

  • Galaxy Burger, a co-op cooking sim about running your own burger joint across different planets.

  • Crypt Custodian, a top-down metroidvania game where you play as a cat.

  • Fishlike, a series of hectic, fish-themed microgames.

  • Dale & Dawson Stationery Supplies, a social deception game about blending in at work to avoid the Manager's suspicions.

  • CATO: Buttered Cat, a sidescrolling platformer about an anti-gravity cat.

  • Lovely Lady RPG, a narrative visual novel about wandering around and seeing where the day takes you. You play as Ghost, who wakes up with no recollection of why there's a hole in her ceiling and a space Orb embedded in her chest.

  • Witching Stone, an engine-building roguelike where you cast spells by matching up sequences of gem tiles.
