lol ironically that was when it was most popular. there was a category for AVS presets on deviantART and lots of people posted em there. i dabbled in it but a lot of the scope stuff involved math that i dont understand. unfortunately AVS stopped being maintained when Nullsoft was bought by AOL and its gotten to the point that it wont even run on modern windows.
that said if you're looking for a weird niche visualisation challenge then check it out!
