i put together 4 concerts with friends (one virtual 3 in person

this is happening in less than 6 hours!! Coyote Wall and the garages are playing a five-song "live" set on https://twitch.tv/desertbus in which we'll play some banging tunes for you, all for charity!

hey folks, i don't know if my original introduction is still good and vibing, so i'll do another for good measure!

i'm yana, and i'm a musician, writer (occasional), cook (often), and tabletop/board gamer (among other games). stoked to have folks here and around in this new lil place.

i'm a founding member of 'the garages' (https://thegarages.bandcamp.com) and Fourth Strike Records, the queer not-for-profit record label stemming from that. we do some cool stuff, though it's a lot of work. i also have my own little project called 'going nowhere' (https://going-nowhere.bandcamp.com)

i currently live and work and play in and around the DC area, love the DMV. it's good.
