Oldish drawing of Mai! A few things have changed in her newer deisgn such as the collar, sword and hair but I still love this piece. I think it's got a lot of movement in it :>
Mai is the main character of Bulwarks. They look like a no-nonsense stickler, but they're actually a socially awkward rulebreaker. Mai used to be a renowned sorcerer in their field, but a tragic accident left them partially disabled. They were removed from the front lines and transferred to Corundum City, a place where all the losers go. Everyone in the office dislikes Mai because they believe nepotism is the sole reason she is employed there. Fortunately, Mai has her brother and a close friend there to help her get by as she tries to recover from her blood poisoning.
