I don't normally remember dreams in the slightest, but I had two last night (plus woke up a few times between them) and still remember them near-perfectly. The first was just, like, some horror RPGMaker-style thing with a maze of doors. The first few were fine - and you could see the other door from the one you picked - and at some point it started spiralling into more horror aesthetics and wrapping in and around itself. The one image I can very distinctly remember was smudged writing on one of the walls saying "door 8 was better" - the other door I'd seen on the way in that hadn't led to this clusterfuck.
The second dream was some gritty espionage show/game/whatever, except me & a friend (who wasn't actually anyone I knew irl) were the people who figured out that the owner of the... school? faculty? place we worked/lived, at least, was the person hiring the killers. We then managed to overturn two people trying to kill us - I distinctly remember basically accepting that I'd die if he would, and ending up with both of us barely making it out in time - and returned as though nothing had happened. That, of course, led to a boss fight sorta thing where it was me, my friend, and one of the people behind all of this in a large room with no weapons and only three platforms of varying heights. The middle of the room had this device that would spit out three different things - two were dense gases that would be fatal if inhaled but would stay at ground level, the other was described as 'like lava' but was basically to stop us touching the floor between the platforms.
So I told my friend to wait where she was, I'd jump to her platform, then had a plan from there. The other guy, the boss fight, was on the highest platform and therefore currently safe for the longest, so I figured out a strategy to get him to fall so we could then go to his platform without touching the floor. Except I then fell asleep - in the dream, I mean - and woke up with the room empty and the door open. And when I got outside, a (actual irl) friend of mine was like "took you long enough, what happened?" and then laughed at me for falling asleep. ._. Turns out, the whole fight thing was a setup to try and get us on side with their plan, except I woke up too soon (...irl, i mean) to find out what their plan actually was or if I agreed with it. ^^;
