finally actually looking into legally changing my name~ 🎉
holy shit why is everything in the uk so goddamn convoluted (okay okay i know why but why). The default advice on the government site is to have someone who has known you for 10+ years and is a homeowner sign a declaration, and then they have to get that witnessed by a solicitor.
Seems like that isn't actually necessary, just advised, which is good because I know exactly one homeowner and they have no idea where they'd go to get the declaration affirmed. :')

I started saying "love y'all" as part of my stream sign-off earlier this year and I'm so glad I did because it kinda works towards two things that I've always been bad for:

1. I always wanna tell chat/viewers how much I appreciate them being there, but saying that in most ways ends up rambling & feeling just as uncomfortable as it does good
2. I've always had this weird hangup around telling people I love them, and like... idk, I love a lot of people, there are so many people who mean so much to me, and making it just feel like more of a normal thing in my mind is nice
