i'm not really into shows that are about teenagers anymore but something about kamen rider fourze HIT ME when i watched it. just obliterated me in a single blast. it singlehandedly made me remember that the "power of friendship" is "sick as hell, actually". it was also so interesting to see so many western high schooler media tropes in a foreign show, like there's just so much cool stuff to analyze and chew on in this show... those are my kids in there. i'll do anything for them.
a very close second is donbrothers. which FEELS WEIRD to say because i haven't watched many other sentais and it also feels too recent to be so high on my list... but Man. what a ride. ever since i started watching toku in 2015, i think it's the only show i watched while it was airing that actively kept my interest.
outside of the big toku franchises: easily kaiketsu zubat. honestly even including the big guys, this show might be third on my overall toku list? i just love unhinged media.
