does anyone know of any CD burning software that can handle scripts other than English for the CD Text, specifically Japanese? I tried using CDBurnerXP today and the CD Text just filled in question marks for the Japanese track titles and album name lol, which is problematic obviously

I know Exact Audio Copy has CD burning functionality, but I haven't tested it much.
But if any software will keep the Japanese text intact I think it’s probably EAC but it’s complicated to use and I am but a fool
I've also used imgburn to burn CDs before. By default it only supports PCM/WAV but you can install some really simple extension to make it support burning from FLAC files and it'll import their metadata and everything. Again, haven't tested it with Japanese characters myself.
Yeah I noticed imgburn made Japanese characters blank when it read the metadata from wav files so I’m guessing it will not encode Japanese CD Text
