Gig economy is so fucking stupid I love making less than minimum wage and driving a total of 55 miles over the course of 4 hours, anyway if you order delivery and don’t tip you should stop doing that there’s absolutely no excuse for not tipping and I don’t care to hear any
I love all the arguments I see against this, as if any of it should fall onto people like me, okay yeah don’t tip well or at all no one’s gonna fucking stop you obviously but don’t try to justify it, it’s cool for me and my fiancée to risk getting Covid but not you, it’s cool for me to do work for subhuman wages but G-d forbid you don’t get a cheeseburger, my fiancée has a fucking autoimmune disorder but G-d forbid us in the servant class complain about the conditions, we’re doing this because my fiancées high risk full time job isn’t enough to pay our bills each month, also they’re getting laid off from said full time job so that’s cool, anyway if you are disabled and have a phone and are in the delivery radius of any “app” I can almost guarantee you are also in the radius of volunteers and orgs that will go and do tasks for you for free, at least not getting money is what they signed up for, anyway I love making $2.33 for a 30 minute trip because someone didn’t tip thank you so much!!!
but seriously my fiancée and I are both disabled so maybe don’t assume every delivery driver is the pinnacle of human health and that they’re not also risking their health or lives when they go out to do your errands :-)
