Hey! It's me, Ruby! Just wanna first say I'm totally ripping off @fish with this, please check out her series of posts The Checkout Counter.

Senritsu Kaiki File Kowasugi
This series is really fucking cool, and has been super inspiring for me, I'm not sure how many in the series have English subtitles but I know at least the first one does, I've been watching it just in Japanese with no subtitles so I can't say for certain, but with the first one being translated I highly recommend checking out at least that! Really amazing found footage on display here.

Ju-On: The Curse
Have you heard of "The Grudge" well this is what started it all! I've been OBSESSED with this series, I'm almost completely finished with the film portion of the franchise, I do actually want to get the novels in Japanese before too long, but anyway this movie fucking rules and so does every other one in the series, the second installment, which largely recaps the first film, really takes it up a notch, so I recommend watching at least the first two in the series, but yeah I've never actually seen the american remakes known as The Grudge but they're apparently also directed by Takashi Shimizu who created the series so I might end up checking them out too.
- with the last moonbeam
This game is really special. I'm not super far into with the last moonbeam, a game for the game boy advance, but I love it so far. with the last moonbeam has a very beautiful art style and music, with really fun mechanics, I've been playing it on my actual GBA thanks to my handy GBA Mini flashcart, but you can play it on an emulator too! Seeing NEW games come out for my favorite handhelds that have long been forgotten by their manufacturers (well sort of) is always really cool to me, especially when the games are as good as this one, please check it out if you haven't.
- Indie Tsushin
You might have already seen Indie Tsushin around cohost, but if you haven't, and you like games, game interviews, and nice people, then you should check them out! Renkon and Daikon are awesome and do excellent work highlighting independent game developers in Japan, and also they stream a lot of indie games on youtube during their Happy Hour which is a blast to watch, please check them out!
- Nicky Flowers Vlog
Nicky Flowers has a vlog, please check out the vlog! It's really nice hearing what Nicky has to say about things, Nicky is a multidiscipline audio and visual artist that you've probably heard of if you're on cohost but just in case you haven't, I highly recommend their work!
Anyway, that's all from me this month in this format, have fun, see you later!
