It’s an instance on activity pub based software (calckey) like how mastodon is! So it can communicate with mastodon and other fediverse instances, I was previously on nattodon which was mastodon based but it had to close down unfortunately, and calckey.jp is the best replacement, you have to be invited but I’ll see if I can get you an invite code

It’s a long story but basically some like 4chan psyop trying to include pedophiles and zoophiles as part of the lgbt community invaded Japanese fediverse and wata-san the admin of nattodon was like please stop promoting these hashtags and ideas and made new server rules regarding it to get people to stop and a lot of people kept harassing them so they closed down the instance unfortunately
