we had some very italian weather here today so i tried making a calzone for the first time on a whim. i overfilled it and the base got a few holes but tbh i kinda like it when food spills out of its container, makes it look more tantalising. base was homemade, used green pesto as the sauce, then filled with fried red onion, courgettes, orange pepper and mushrooms, plus cherry tomatoes and cheddar (i ran out of mozzarella)
