hey everyone. we got a twofer this week! last week we were dealing with an unexpectedly flaky update and, after braving Hurricane Idalia successfully, jae’s power got knocked out by a regular-degular thunderstorm a couple days later, so getting everyone in the same room at the same time to do a patch notes post didn’t happen. here’s what’s new since we last spoke:
- tag silencing!
- #statistical analysis have you feeling down? do you feel your soul rot away each and every time you see inferential analysis on the TL? just browsing #statistics for fun facts and not all that weird math stuff? we finally have the solution to this common problem. add a tag to your silenced tag list and you’ll never see a post with that tag again.
- this joins the existing feature of tag muffling, which lets you hide posts with a certain tag behind a clickthrough. you can access both of them from your settings page!
- we published a brand new directory of awesome third-party tools you can use to improve your Posting experience.
