attracting largely white folks who are looking for quieter, more homogeneous, "safer" neighborhoods, and acting like an HOA when people behave a little differently than them
the straightfaced way that certain folks blamed people for being bullied in response to simply reminding the community to use the official feature request and bug report forum was TRULY wild
anyway, I like cohost, but there's no question that it needs to do better with accessibility. obviously a small team can only do so many things at once, but it would be cool to see, e.g., a roadmap of planned accessibility improvements.
(and being a small site is not a license to ignore or deprioritize accessibilty issues; as folks in the US will say, if you can't afford to tip, you can't afford the meal, or, if you can't afford to pay your workers, you can't afford to run a business, and the same principle applies here.)
I know we all have our own circles but this is the first website where I’ve been exposed to many people that get actually mad at disabled people for not being nice enough about their requests for proper access
