That would be truly silly and I don’t think the media or consumers would appreciate it, I understand the EU forced them basically though
apple has consistently done truly silly things to maintain it's cult-like grip on its user base. this is why i refuse to work with apple products whenever possible.
I’m sort of just hoping if people like me who know the details keep reacting like it’s worldwide the public backlash will be too great to deal with if they don’t do it, wishful thinking but you never know!
Yeah I’m hoping it’s broader than that. I also kinda just hope I can sideload using XCode with fewer restrictions.
