but I learned about VNC! it's cool! now I don't have to switch video channel all the time to do stuff on my raspi, also it lets me do file transfers, very nice, though completely unneeded because if you look carefully I have a folder shared from my windows 10 PC mounted on the raspi, slight annoyance: I have to remount it every time I start up the raspi, only slight annoyance though because I have a script for it and also the raspi is basically never not running
