1.) looks too much like when system can’t render character cus it’s missing or whatever
2.) they gave the document anxiety, probably made people bummed out to use documents on a computer machine
3.) documents of course in the non digital space are always gently landing on a table, which is what the stark shadow represents, a realist approach to representing the humble document in the form of an icon
4.) this screams copy button, I’m pretty sure several software I use have this as the copy icon, what were they fucking thinking, you fools
5.) hideous, icons shouldn’t give me the feeling of witnessing a tangent even though I guess technically there isn’t one, but in my heart it feels like one, hideous again
6.) finally some sense is being had
7.) perfect, it makes sense, it’s balanced, again we’re always folding the corners of documents in the non digital world after all
