This morning I woke up to find my Facebook account suspended. They wanted me to upload a video of me moving my face in various directions to use it for training an “AI model” to “detect fake videos.” At first, I felt defeated and was like “Well, I guess I don’t have facebook anymore,” but then I had a great idea; I found a generic human face 3D model and tricked the video test with it. So, a bit ago my account was reinstated. By the way, this video was reviewed by a human being and approved. Truly incredible.
Also I just wanna say tricking the video test wasn’t exactly easy. I had to face my phone’s screen towards my computer screen and basically stare at it from the side while adjusting the rotation of the model with my mouse. Took quite a while to get it to trick the test enough to pass. The test basically has you move your head in various directions similar to setting up Face ID on an iOS device. In this case, my head was the first model I found on sketchfab.
