The newsletter is back at it after a bit of a dip as I got writer's blocked and things went a little crazy over here irl. I had meant to get some pieces done about last season's anime and got really stuck writing about Metallic Rouge, of all things.
This is a series I recommended here, but unfortunately fails to stick the landing as so many ambitious anime do. I used to think of this kind of thing as "well, if it doesn't end well it's a waste of my time so why even start?", but I'm coming around to the idea that it's better to give a series a shot rather than just forget about it... even if the hit rate for ambitious sci-fi anime like this is pretty damn low.
