Playing Knytt Stories again and was incredibly charmed by Luminous City by Jeppo. It was maybe too circuitous a take on the Alice and Wonderland bit, but it had the comfortable vibe of a kid's first made game. It also had a Cheshire character who acted as a hint system that ended all their conversations with, "Thank you for listening to Kitty!"
