These days, snowfall will bring out a powerful feeling of nostalgia because when I used to live in Alaska, snow used to be a common part of what it meant to -feel- the changing of the seasons. I always felt so much happier in my hometown during the winter because there's something undeniably beautiful about the slate-white landscapes under a purple-pink twilight
Sometimes it's even enough to make me miss living in Anchorage
