okay apologies to the individual questioneers but I'm gonna get this whole bunch answered all at once for the sake of efficiency
it's a really straightforward process: the catgirl machine makes anything placed into it more cat and more girl. that's it! slap a template on, boom, done!
cat? more cat and more girl. whatever that means to you! (the catgirl machine is just that user-friendly)
robot? same thing!
a... does that say a towel? okay. uhh... so cat implies some level of animal-ness, right? but there's a lot of wiggle room. so that's probably not enough to move the meter. but girl, now, that's way less ambiguous. girl implies a person, or at least some amount of personhood. that's the part that's gonna lead to some questionable ethics and some kind of catgirl that you (you, the user putting a towel in something called a Catgirl Machine) will look at and go "ohh, that makes sense". you ever asked an artist to draw a cute girl inspired by a physical object? same thing! probably. your mileage may vary.
but, just like the manual says—you catgirl it, you gotta take care of it! catveat emptor.
thanks for using the catgirl machine! :D no refunds (unless if purchased in Québec)
hey hi! apologies for the delay in my reply!
if you'll just look in the manual, just go to the section labeled Plausible Deniability Mechanisms—there ought to be one in there that'll work for your friend! or uh, has worked for your friend, in the year since you asked. thanks for your patience! :D
uhhhhh jeez I'm so sorry I didn't reply sooner! hopefully your friend found a spare they could use!
we're still working on better market reach but, as that means we're not working on better locking mechanisms, it's never been easier to borrow/rent/accidentally trip and fall into with enough force to activate a catgirl machine in your area!
